Thank You for The Sisterhood of Crafters: Ribbon & Brads Challenge

Hi Everyone!  Are you surprise!?  I actually have three posts and three projects in one single day.  This evening, I made a thank you to the men (my husband and my son) of my life because they are simply the best.   Both my husband and my son are big fans of Transformers, so I used some of my son's left over Valentine's card to make this card.  Since the world is go green, we (crafters) can be green too.  Everything in this card is from recycle pieces or scrap.  There is no Cricut' influence.  I hope you like.

Treat Bag for Egg Hunt

Welcome to KMC!  I was a little pooped out from driving (especially in bad weather) to make all my daughter's appointments (two different appointments (school evaluation and doctor's appt) in two different cities, Elk Grove and Roseville).  By the time I got home, I was pretty tired.  That is the reason why I did not make two projects as I have anticipated this morning.  This evening, I only have enough energy to make 1/2 of a project.  You read it right, 1/2 of a project.  I will finish the other 1/2 tomorrow or the following day if I have time because my daughter has another doctor's appointment.

Before you scroll down to the project itself.  Let me give you some of the background of this project.  If you read my previous blog, my daughter's 3rd birthday is coming soon.  Since it is about a month away, I'm trying to get all the stuff done before her birthday comes.  Every year, there will be games and activities in the party.  The main event of my daughter's birthday is Egg Hunt since it is about a week or two away from Easter.  The pass two years I have the guest to bring their own basket but this year, I will make treat bag for the children who will be participate in the egg hunt.  This is pretty big treat bag and I think it will be good to store or hold all the eggs that the children hunt.   You can see how big the treat bag is by compare to other bag I made for party favor.

Yes, it might be un-finish right now but it will be finish soon.  However, I not sure if I should decorate the treat bag in butterfly theme or Easter theme.  What do you think?  Please leave me a comment which option I should decorate the plain treat bag with.

By the way, my Gypsy has arrived when I got home this evening.  Yippee!!

My New Toy - Gypsy

Hi Everyone!  Thanks for dropping by.  I'm busy running around making errands and trying to get back to normal schedule (get the house back to normal condition, hehehe) before my children were sick.  Therefore, I don't have any projects for you this morning.  Hopefully later in the day, I will have a project or two to post.

However, I do have something to share with you.  My new toy (Gypsy) will be arriving today.  I am so excited.  Can't wait to use it and create more projects for you (my viewers and my followers).

Thanks Diana.

Treat Bag for Cardz TV: All About Spring Challenge

Welcome to KMC!  It was crazy for the past few days in Kelly's world.  However, I'm back and my daughter was discharged this afternoon.  She is doing very well.  While my husband is taking care of my daughter, I have something for you tonight.  My daughter's third birthday is coming soon.  The theme of the party will be butterfly.   Therefore, I made a butterfly treat bag to give out to our guest.

I also enter this project to "Cardz TV: All About Spring Challenge".  In this challenge, you have to create a project about Spring using tree, bee, dragonfly, butterfly, flower, etc.  I think this treat bag is perfect for this challenge.  Don't you think?

Happy Saving for Happy Shopping

Hi there!  I'm still in the hospital with my little princess.  She is feeling better today.  Hopefully, she will be discharge soon.  My daughter and I are so ready to go home.  Since I'm still in the hospital, I don't have craft supplies with me, therefore, I don't have any project posting today.   I should have bring my baby bug and card stock with me when I was heading to the ER two days ago.   Hehehe.  Just kidding.  That is so wrong.  Hehehe.  However, I do have something to share with you, more saving for happy shopping.  Enjoy!!

KMC's 1 Month Celebration

Hi Everyone!  Thanks for visiting KMC.  Today, I don't have any projects to post.  My daughter is really sick.  I'm in the hospital with her right now.  We were in the hospital since yesterday morning (5:50am) She won't be discharge at least for a couple days but I think it will be a longer.  When she was hospitalized for the first time of the year (last month), doctors told me that my daughter will be discharge in a day but she end up staying in the hospital for 4 DAYS (1/1/11 to 1/5/11)!  Luckily, I am able to access the internet in the patient room.  I won't be able to create and post any projects for a few days or at least when my daughter is disharge and well.

Anyway, I can't believe today is my one month celebration since I started this blog.  Here is my gift to all my followers and my visitors.

As a fellow crafter, everything little discount or saving will help.  Happy shopping and happy crafting.

By the way, I have something to share or probably you might have know this already.  Joann (at least in the local Joann where I live) is now selling the pink ATG gun for $29.00.  Yep, $29.00 and you can use the 50% coupon.  You can do the math.

KMC's Craft Area

Welcome back to KMC!  Thanks for dropping by.  Today, I would like to share with you where all my creations begin.  It is all begin in my craft area.  When I feel stress or sad, I would spend time in my craft area crafting (as long as I'm not busy with my kids or studying).  I'm feel happy when I craft.  Believe it or not, I was diagnosed with depression (not baby blue) by my doctor when my daughter was born (almost 3 years ago).  Crafting helps me cope with depression.  Couple of weeks ago, I had an doctor's appt and I told my doctor that I did not take any of the Prozac that she prescribed to me.  I thought she would be upset with me but she thinks it is totally fine that I did not take the Prozac.  Crafting is my medicine to cope with depression and my craft area is my happy happy place even though is not very big.  However, it is good enough.

This is it. This is where I keep all my supplies (adhesive, ribbon, embellish, Cuttlebug folder, dies, etc).  I keep all my supplies in these plastic bins that I purchased from Target.  They are very affordable.  Beginning of last year (2010), I only have one tower (the small tower (6 bins) on the left).  After my sweet husband gave me a Cricut Expression machine for my birthday, everything started to multiply and grow.

Close up where I keep all my card stock and paper.

Another close up.

My ribbon rack and embellishments storage.

This is where I craft.

My pink ATG gun and Cricut Expression machine.  Love them!!

This is where my daughter would sit and play while I'm crafting.

I share my craft area with my husband.  My husband is into photography.  This is his studio.  I like to call it the "Ah-Ha Studio".  Don't tell my husband.  He doesn't know that there is a name for his studio.  This is a secret between us.  Hehehe.

Another angle of my husband's studio.

Remember the party favors that you seen in my previous post.  It is now looking like this.  My daughter like to play with the party favors that I made and finally she destroy every single one of them.  My poor poor party favor.  I should have keep them where a two years can't reach.

Valentine Card for Cricut Cardz Challenge: Challenge #61 and Annabelle Stamps: Say It With...Polka Dot Challenge

Hi Everyone!!  Sorry for MIA for 8 DAYS!!  I was super busy.  My daughter was sick and I had to study for an exam.  Gosh, it was a torture.  Hehehe.  Just kidding.  It's not.  I'm just being a drama queen (DQ).  It is funny that yesterday was Valentine's Day and my exam was about the Cardiovascular System (Heart). I think it is funny.

As I have mention before, I would love to spend time in my craft area if I'm not study or taking care of my kids or running errands.  This morning, I made a Valentine Card for two challenges.  Yes, double dips again but I can't help myself.  Both challenges are fun.  These challenges are "Annabelle Stamps: Say It With...Polka Dot" and "Crazy About Cricut: Challenge #61.  For the Annabelle Stamp's challenge, I have to create a project that has polka dot.  For the "Crazy About Cricut: Challenge #61", I have to make a Valentine Card using colors "blue, green and white only".  Here is the Valentine card that I made this morning.  Hope you will like it.
