Thank You for The Sisterhood of Crafters: Ribbon & Brads Challenge

Hi Everyone!  Are you surprise!?  I actually have three posts and three projects in one single day.  This evening, I made a thank you to the men (my husband and my son) of my life because they are simply the best.   Both my husband and my son are big fans of Transformers, so I used some of my son's left over Valentine's card to make this card.  Since the world is go green, we (crafters) can be green too.  Everything in this card is from recycle pieces or scrap.  There is no Cricut' influence.  I hope you like.

Thank You Card for My Creative Time: Throwback Thursday Challenge-Episode #157

Thank you for visiting KMC.  This evening, I made a "Thank You" card for "My Creative Time: Throwback Thursday Challenge-Episode #157.  The challenge is that we have to use either Paper Dolls Dress Up or Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge.  It also has to be either heat or dry emboss.  I think this challenge will be fun.  When I made this card, I was thinking of my daughter.  As some of you might remember, I mention that my daughter has special needs.  I want to make a card to thanks all the doctors and specialists who help her in the past and present.

You probably noticed that TYC #12 and TYC #14.  They pretty much are the same cards.  The designer paper that I used in TYC #12 was out and I don't know where I can get more.  There I have to use a pattern that is closest to it in my collection (I don't have that much paper at the time).  I think the design paper for TYC #14 works better.  It makes the card and the flower pop.

Thanks for dropping by.

"Thank You" cards for the Troop in Iraq

Summer of 2010, my friend, Hong, asked me to help her make a serious of 12 "Thank You" cards. Her office is planning to send the handmade cards that I make to the troop in Iraq to thanks the troop for their service.

Not sure if Hong noticed or not, I was thrill, flatter, honor, and bit scare.  I feel very honor that Hong asked me for help and believe in me.  I was scared because I was afraid that I will fail her.  More over, it was the first time that I used my Cricut Machine to make cards.  Even though, my hubby bought me the Cricut Expression in Spring 2010 but I did not open it until early or mid-Summer 2010.  As I have mention before, I am not computer savvy.  In addition, I also electronic challenge.  I am so afraid to open the Cricut Machine box and break any button.  However, I manage to use the Cricut Machine without any hiccup (knock on wood).

Hong, I hope I did not fail you.

Below are the "Thank You" cards that I made for the troop in Iraq.  Please give me some comments.  I think it will help me to be a better craft.
