Gift Box

Hi All!  If you follow my previous post, I made a matching necklace and bracelet for my daughter's physical therapist to thanks her for all the work she had done for my daughter for the past two and half years.  Tomorrow is the my daughter's last day with her.  Since I made the necklace and bracelet, I need something to put the necklace and bracelet in.  I decided to made a gift bag/gift box.  It is very simple but I think it is pretty elegant that match the pearl necklace and bracelet.  Most important, it is a  great size.
Here is the gift box.......

Gift: Matching Necklace and Bracelet

Thanks for dropping by KMC.  My daughter has mild to moderate hypotonia (low tone muscle).  Hypotonia is one of the many reasons that my daughter is not walking independently even though she will be turning three next week but she is making progress.  She has been receiving physical therapy once a week for about two and half years.  Tomorrow is my daughter last day with her physical therapist, Rennie.  Rennie is very special to both my daughter and myself.  Without Rennie, I don't think my daughter will be progressing.  I want to thanks Rennie for everything that she has done for us by making her a matching necklace and bracelet.  This is my third time of making jewelry so it will be simple.  I hope Rennie will like it.

Happy Saving for Happy Shopping

Hi All!  It has been a long since I have any post.  Sorry for MIA for such a long time.  My daughter has been sick and I was under the weather too.  Also, I am doing volunteer work at my local hospital (Kaiser) one day a week and it has been two weeks already.  Last Tuesday was my last day of training.  I will be on my own next week, little nervous.  Heheh.  On top of everything, I had an exam last Monday.  Thank goodness, the exam was over.

I don't have any new project to post as of right now.  Hopefully, I will have one or two projects to post by the end of the day.  However, I do have something to share with you all.  It is "Happy Saving for Happy Shopping" time.  I have couple of coupons for you.  Enjoy.

My Very First Handmade Pearl Necklace

Hi All.  Welcome to KMC!  Today, I don't have any paper craft (ie cards, treat bag, etc) to post but I'm venture out to another type of craft (aka beading w/ wire) instead.  Yes, I made my first pearl necklace!  This is a very simple necklace and I made everything from scratch (ie jump rings and loop the pearls).  I know it is not perfect but I hope practice will make perfect.  I hope my next necklace or bracelet will be better and more interesting in design.  Anyway, I hope you like it.

Since I am a newbie in beading, I hope you can give me some comments so I can improve myself next time.
