Hello Kitty Treat Bags

Yes, I am on fire tonight.  I have another post and another new project.  Since Christmas is around the corner, it is my tradition (yes, my tradition) that I make holiday treat bags for my son's classmates, my daughter's classmates and my husband's co-worker (depend if my can finish everything else first, heheh, j/k).  So far I have made about 34 Hello Kitty Treat Bags for my son and daughter classmates.  My goal is to make about 120.  I am getting close.  Hehehe.

Hi Everyone!  How is everyone doing?  Gosh, it has been a long time since I have a post.  I have been super busy for the past couple months.  As you have known, I was busy moving and getting settle in my sister's house.  Plus, my daughter has been sick every other week.  Seriously!!??  Yeah, tell me about it.

Winner!!

Hi Everyone,

It has been a very long time since I blog.  How's everyone doing?  I'm still busy.  Busy moving, getting my kids settle in new school and new environment, and I need to get ready myself to go back to school.  My first day of class is Monday.  Have I mention that I am also a part-time student beside being mom?  Hehehe.

Any hoo!  Today is the day.  Today, I will announce the winner to KMC's blog candy.  I know I did not reach 100 followers, it's okay.  This is all about fun.  I have already picked a winner this morning.  I did the old fashion way, I did not use any high tech method like everyone else because I'm not very computer savvy.  I put all the names of the people who left me comments for the blog candy post in a bowl and have my daughter pick the name from the bowl.  The people left me comments are......Edel, Linda, Littlehamsterz, Monica, Crazee Daisy, My Need 2 Craft, Eemeli and Eva.

The winner IS (drum rolling....).........
Eva

Where on Earth is Kelly?

Hi All!  I have been MIA for a while.  I don't have anything to post today or for a while.  I have been very busy.  My daughter was schedule to have surgery on July 28th in Kaiser South Sac.  However, we have to reschedule to August 8th because the surgery move to Kaiser Roseville.  Why?  My daughter has many many medical problems so she has to move to a hospital that has more specialists and equipments.  Beside my daughter's up coming surgery, we (my family) are busy packing.  Like many unfortunated Americans, we are loosing our house so we are moving into my sister's house.  Yeah, two families in a 4 bedrooms house.  It will be tight but I think we'll be fine.  The sad part is that KMC's craft area is gone :( but I confidently think KMC's craft area will be back (don't know when).  :)

I have something to announce.  If you are looking for a Silhouette SD, Oh My Craft is having it on sale for $199 and you can use the discount code "ORANGE20" for additional 20% off.  The final price will be $160 with free shipping.  Is that a good deal or what?

Anyway, I have to go back to packing.  Urgghhh!

Don't forgot about my blog candy will end on Aug 17th.

Joann's Haul

Hi Everyone!  I am such a happy girl today.  I went to Joann thinking of getting something for my niece to store her beads that she purchased at Hong Kong (10 lbs).  Instead of getting bead storage organizer for my niece, I bought new toys for myself.  Hehehe.  I just can't help myself.  The price is too good to pass!  This is what I bought today.

I purchased....... :)
3 Spellbinder Shapeability Pendant Dies
1 Spellbinder Shapeability Ribbon Tag Dies
3 Stamps
1 package of embellishment

All the Spellbinder Shapeability dies are on clearance (2 pendant dies-$4.97 each, 1 pendant die-$5.97, tag die-$9.97) plus I used the 20% off coupon from my "Happy Saving for Happy Shopping" (entire purchase, included regular and sale item).  So, is this too good to pass up or what??!!  If you want to get these goodies before they ran out, go to the Joann at E1 lk Grove, Ca.  The staffs are awesome! By the way, there are other dies on clearance as well.  Oh hurry! If you snooze you loose!  I think I might go back to get some more dies.

Welcome to KMC.  Couple months ago, a friend of a friend asked me to help her make some wedding invitations (about 100) for her upcoming wedding (next year).  Her wedding colors are red and gold.  Therefore, I made a wedding invitation sample using the wedding colors of red and gold.  The bride-to-be wants it to be cute but elegant.  This is my first time of making wedding invitation, I hope the bride-to-be will like it.  In the meantime, I will try to develop more wedding invitation concept cards for the bride-to-be to choose.

Teacher's Gift

Good Evening.  Welcome back to KMC.  Tuesday will be my kids (son and daughter) last day of school then they will be on summer break until August.  Therefore, I made a pearl bracelet to thank my kids' teachers for all their helps especially my daughter's teacher.  My daughter (who is a special need child) make so many progress since she started pre-school.  I can't thanks the teacher, Chris, enough.  Making the bracelet is the least I can do.  I have to thanks my son's teacher, Laura, who has been so patient with me.  Thank you all!

Since I made the bracelets, I need to make a container to put the bracelets in.  I made a purse box to storage the bracelet.  I use the same paper as treat bags so it will match.  The purse box is similar to the one that I made before.  I hope you will like it.

New Project but No Camera

Hi Everyone.  Welcome to KMC!  My son's kindergarten promotion is around the corner.  Today, I made some treat bags for him and his classmates for their accomplishments.  I can only make 12 treat bags because I'm out of poster board!  Boohoo :(.   I still need make 12 more.  When I was about to take picture of the treat bags, I remember that I let me sister use my camera for a month and I don't know how to use my husband's camera.  Once I figure out how to use my husband's camera, I will post the picture of the treat bags.  Hopefully by tomorrow morning there will be some pictures.  In the meantime, I will try to create more projects for you.

By the way, I did order the Spellbinder Grand Calibur from Oh My Craft.  I think it is too good to pass.  Can't wait for the Grand Calibur to arrive so I can make more new projects.

Spellbinder Grand Calibur

Hi All!  How's everyone doing this morning?  My gosh, I did not have anything post for a long long time.  Sorry.  I have been busy.  My final was last Monday (5/16/11), need to get ready for it.  Plus, my daughter was sick.  Yes, AGAIN!

Back to the crafting world.  I have been eyeing on the Spellbinder Grand Calibur for a long time since the day it cames out on the market because it can emboss up to 8" wide (or bigger) that I love.  However, it was a little pricey to convince myself to get one.  This morning, I found out that Oh My Craft have it on sale for $99.99 plus I can use a discount code that they send to me daily.  The final price is $85.99 (free shipping if over $50.00 in the USA) which I think it is not bad for the capability it has.  Many websites are selling it for $129.99.  I did saw one at my local craft store on Elk-Grove Florin selling if for $129.99 plus tax.

Here is my problem.  My husband and I are on a budge.  We have an allowance of $100 each person on on personal expense every two weeks.  If I get the Spellbinder Grand Calibur, I only left with & $14.99.  I am very torn and I need your help.  Please give me some comment on whether or not I should get this machine.  Also, I don't really know how great the machine really works beside watching video on You Tube.  If you have one, please also let me know what your thoughts on it such as what you like and doesn't like about it.

Oh, I forgot to mention the sale will be over in 3 days!

By the way Terri (I'm her follower & she is my follower as well), I got the Xyron 500 at Joann for $17.50 with 50% off coupon.  You inspire me to get one.  Can wait for play with it!

Crystal & Pearl Bracelet

Hi Everyone!  How's everyone doing today?  I feel very relax this weekend.  I have no exam that I need to study for and my daughter is not sick (knock on wood).  I bought more crystal beads today so you guess it. I made a crystal mix with pearl bracelet.

Matching Crystal Bracelet

Hi All!  How is everyone this morning?  When I woke up this morning, I feel like making something.  Since I made a necklace, I want to make a matching bracelet, so I did.  Hope you will like it.

Crystal Necklace

Hi everyone!  Thanks for visiting KMC.  It has been a long since I have any projects to post due to busy schedule and my daughter has been sick.  However, my exam is over and my daughter is do well (knock on wood).  As I have promise before, I will start making more projects to share with you after my exam.  Today, I did not make any paper craft but I did create a new project.  I bought some crystals today so you guess it!  I made a necklace.   Let me know what you think.
